To me, poetry is a way of expressing my feelings, letting out steam, communication with others. Many times I sit down angry and begin to write, and by the time I'm finished I don't feel nearly as bad. I've also found that the best possible way to say "I love you" is through a poem. My poems convey love, hate, happiness, sadness, and, most of all, me. "Poetry is the heart in paper."
